SDMA Code of Practice
The SDMA has as members the majority of manufacturers of wound care products supplying the UK health care market and therefore largely represents this sector of the healthcare industry.
It is a condition that all members of the SDMA formally adopt the Code of Practice. The SDMA Code of Practice covers the promotion and sale of wound care and associated products to healthcare professionals in the British Isles (e.g. surgeons, doctors, hospital nurses, community nurses, pharmacists, dentists, chiropodists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, product buyers, etc).
