SDMA is the trade association for the surgical dressings industry in the UK
Welcome to the Surgical Dressing Manufacturers Association (SDMA) web site.
The SDMA exists to serve companies involved in the wound care, bandaging, orthopaedic, hip protector and associated market sectors in the British Isles. The purpose of the SDMA is to help the industry grow and prosper in an ethical and responsible manner by:
- encouraging the expanding use of safe and effective products in health-care markets
- helping create an environment that encourages innovation
- working in partnership with health-care professionals and procurement organisations
- influencing in a responsible way the creation of a favourable regulatory environment
Member companies range in size from small family companies to major multinational organisations – but each company has an equal voice, regardless of size. One of the great strengths of the SDMA is the inclusive nature of its membership.
